So we did not win the 90 million dollars and my dreams of jet setting around the world and buying my dream mansion did not come to pass, the feeling of expectation is actually quite addictive! That said, I would not be buying anymore lotto tickets again unless the prize money is of a significant amount like 90 mil, Can't let the gambler inside get the better of me. We did however win $13 to be split amongst 23 of us.

Sick and still having to wake up in the cold mornings are a real torture. Why can't there be a pill that would make waking up much easier?

Caught Transformers 2 the other day and I actually really enjoyed it. Hated the first one because of bad story line and acting. Not much has changed in the second series except that the acting had improved and there was actually humour in it and the graphics were so awesome.

The start of the new financial year means that I should start saving more money too. Maybe I should be keeping a tab of what I spend on to make saving money easier, I never know where all my money goes to nowadays.

At the moment, I'm suffering from a really bad throat. Feels inflamed and I know I'm going to get sick soon if this keeps up. Staying away from coffee today to see if it helps sooth it.

I think by far one of the 2 greatest inventions are the credit card and the internet which allows me to do online shopping.

Just got my sheets which I bought online and they are gorgeous and way cheaper than what I would have to pay for it at the shops. Next up would be my new wallet which I bought over the weekend with a 50% discount :)

I am officially a Springvale girl now that I've finally changed my residential address on my car insurance to which I have reluctantly paid the increase in premium because it's a higher risk area sigh.

Met up with Chin, Cin Vin, Ivan and Tracy in Sprinvale for Pho before Chin went to pick up her new puppy - Loki :)

Alright, so I failed my driving test again for the second time - this time for lack of use of mirrors. Honestly, it is so hard to figure out what the right way of driving is, I'm just going to succumb and get myself an instructor to find out the important points. Such a hassle having to retake it over and over again!

Bought a mattress base the other day for my bedroom. Got it delivered today but the guys couldn't manage to get it up the stairs and into my room. They took it back and once again, I'm stuck without a base. Been shopping around on ebay for a bed frame seeing that the ones retailed in the actual shops cost a hand and a foot for even the simplest ones.

Got to say, I love ebay :) Have a few on my watch list now so hopefully no one bids on them and I get to swoop in and get them for the prices i want.

I'm missing you here and having a cake at Laurent on your behalf. Doesn't mean that since you're 18 now you're legal to go out and party hard. You'll always be the underage sister who should stay home and be good :D

Just read the email regarding start times for the run - 7:25 am on a Sunday morning. Weather forecast predicts it is going to be frosty and I'll need to take public transportation to get there.

Maybe, I'll just decide to sleep in that morning itself :)

Weather apparently was great for the run and I did overslept -______-

As of late, I've had the realization that I'm a very disappointed person. Disappointed in people in general and I am trying to figure out why but my mind just blocks it out. Perhaps it's the cold weather that's affecting my mood but I'm finding it a chore now to be happy. It's like when the door shuts at night, my mind wanders back to the feeling I get when I wake up again - disappointment.

I need a pick me up. Maybe I'll get tickets home during the middle of year.

Or, the change of feeling could be due to certain factors:
- My new hair cut which I'm struggling to get used to. Everyone compliments it but I think they are being nice haha
- Having to spend loads of money since I've moved on furniture etc
- The fact that I've got my drive test this Saturday and I think I might have copped a traffic ticket cause the camera flashed at me. But I checked and I was not speeding neither did I run the light. Maybe (hopefully) it was for the cars behind me
- I miss my family and Joanne's 18th is coming up soon and I'm not there

I bet it's the weather and this phase will pass soon :)

Honestly, with the presence of facebook and it's picture uploading function, there really is no need for me to blog anymore. Some sunny pictures I took while it was still warm. Can't believe summer is already over. We hardly got much sun except those 2 horrifying weeks of extreme heat and bush fires.

Also, day light saving starts or ends (who knows!) next week which means a 2 hour time difference :)

1. Since being back I've been trying to get my driver's permit done and also to start applying for my PR here in Australia. First big problem when I tried to take my Leaners test was that my name did not match my passport! Which meant that I have to change my name sequence on my credit card/bank cards to match it. 2 extra weeks of waiting.
2. Took my Leaners and Hazards 2 days ago and passed thankfully.
3. After driving for more than 3 years I thought that I would without a doubt pass my driving test - which I did not! Because I was speeding in an 'industrial zone' which I did not know was one in the first place -_____- Speed limit for zones with no speed signs are 50km/h. How was I supposed to know that.
4. Another 3 month wait before I can retake the test because everyone seems to be in a hurry to get their permits too. May 9th better be the last.
5. Decided to join Run for the Kids this year - April 5th 2009.
   
6. Realised after the 3km run today that I attempted that I would not last 14.1km if I don't start training full on.
7. Made a wager with my colleague that I would finish it and I'm determined to do so.
8. Started going for personal training classes at the gym down the road from work to help prepare for the run.
9. Been at my firm for more than a year now. Got a rise as a result of that :)
10. Missed out on tickets to watch Jason Mraz in April.
11. So close to bidding $300 on it but ebay did not ring me up to tell me the bid was ending and I slept through it sigh.
12. Went for Wicked on Wednesday. Have to say that I was so impressed with the props and dresses I wasn't really listening to much of the singing.
13. During the drive back after the show, every green light we passed seem as though we were driving to the Emerald City :D
14. Split ends on my hair :(
15. Going for a manicure after gym next Tuesday. Hopefully there's slots for my appointment.
